TpT Challenge: Masterpiece

It's already Week 3 of the TpT Seller Challenge that is sponsored by Teach Create Motivate, Third in Hollywood, Peppy Zesty Teacherista, and Sparkling In Second!
This was the motivation I needed to finish my Morning Work product I started already! I was having a hard time completing the packet because I was second guessing myself.

Well I did it I finally completed my Quarter 3 Morning work! I love it!! I was motivated to keep going with the makeover madness as I continued with my morning work packets and love how cute the covers turned out!!

I focused on skills that my kinder kiddos would have already learned and would be learning during the third quarter. I also made sure I created enough pages in each week to allow for 2 sided morning work. I struggled last year with some of my high flyers finishing so quickly and not having challenging enough activities. When I created this product I didn’t want to have the same problem with my new kiddos!

I would love to SWAP with someone to get some feedback! I cannot wait to see the amazing products you all have created! I am so inspired by your creativity and cute products!
Happy Monday and Happy Creating!!

Until Next Time,

Five for Friday

Happy Friday!! I hope you are having a great Friday! I know some of you are just finishing school, Congratulations!! You made it!!

Y’all it has been a busy week so why not recap with Kacey over at Doodle Bugs Teaching with her Five for Friday linky party?!

This week we signed up for the summer reading club at our local library. By we I mean my little nanny friend and I. I remember doing this as a kid during the summer. My grandma would take us to swimming lessons and then the library. It was so much fun logging the number of pages I read, and then when I was older the number of books I read each summer. I thought this would be a fun way to keep her reading this summer and earn little prizes. Did you know that everything is digital now?! It’s all online the sign up, logging your books/pages, and keeping track of your prizes. I couldn’t believe it! They even have an adult reading program. Adults get prizes too! So much fun!

I just started reading The Whole-Brain Child by Daniel J. Siegel & Tina Payne Bryson. I love it so far! I have heard so many great things about whole brain teaching and with a little one on the way I thought it would be good to take a closer look. I have only read the first two chapters, but I have taken tons of notes. There are so many great examples.

My husband and I are moving in the fall so I want to take full advantage of the time I have left here. I go to see my sister each week and treat her and my littles to a yummy dinner. I love time with my niece and nephew! They are my world (for now until our gummy bear comes) and I love to spoil them! It doesn’t hurt that they are so cute!

This week I have started to go through my classroom library. This is a huge job, but I was told it all cannot go with us. Since I’m not sure when I’ll be back in my own classroom I won’t argue. I was blessed to have a few retiring teachers gift me their libraries, but I never spent long going through the books. This time I am looking at each book closely and deciding if I will keep it. The books I am not going to keep I will take to a used bookstore ant try to sell, and the ones they do not want I will donate to my school for our kiddos in need.

It is so HOT!! I mean you walk outside and feel like you are on fire! Since I am an Arizona girl I have always loved the heat. I was a lifeguard for years and it never, I mean NEVER, bothered me. Now that I am growing a tiny person that has all changed. I wear as little clothing as possible with out breaking laws and spend much of the day inside or in a shaded pool.

I cannot tell you how badly I am wishing for our family vacation!! I cannot wait to sit on the cool beach in Hawaii sipping on my Pina Colada Mocktail!! TWO WEEKS AND COUNTING!! Is it too early to start packing?!?

I hope you all are having a fabulous Friday! Thank you for stopping by to read about my week. I cannot wait to read about yours!

Until next time,

Tell All Tuesday: Bucket List

Happy Tuesday Ya'll! It’s Tuesday so I hope you are ready for another addition of Tell All Tuesday with Diana from MY DAY IN K and Jayme from TEACH TALK INSPIRE. This week we are talking about our Teaching Bucket List.

What hopes and dreams do you have for your teaching career?  Do you want to go back to school to become a reading specialist?  One day become principal of your school?

Dream big and don't hold back!
My Bucket list is simple, but so full of my dreams for my professional future!

1.         I want to go back and earn my masters in Early Childhood Education. I have a heart for the littlest learners and want to make a difference. I believe earning my masters will help me take that next step toward being able to do that.

2.        I want to grow my TpT Business, but not only that I want to meet some amazing teachers who I have followed for years. I am so inspired by so many of you and it has been wonderful to dive right in to a welcoming world of authors. Thank you!!

3.         I have watched and read so many amazing teachers share their experiences from the Vegas Conference and many other professional workshops. I must admit I am so jealous!! I want to attend the Vegas Conference and meet so many of you wonderful authors. I may not be able to go next year (depends on our lil gummy bear), but I want to go the year after for sure!

Thank you so much for stopping by to read my teacher bucket list! I cannot wait to read about your bucket list.

Don’t forget to hop over to My Day in K and Teach Talk Inspire to join in on the linky fun!

          Until next time,

Dare to Dream TPTChallenge

Happy Monday! It's week TWO of the #tptsellerchallenge with Third in Hollywood, Peppy Zesty Teacherista, Teach Create Motivate, and Sparkling in Second. This week our challenge is to reflect on our goals and dreams for our TpT business.

I just started this great journey and am loving every minute of it. I have always had big dreams so this challenge was easy for my to accomplish.

1. I started this journey because I love what I do, and I cannot imagine doing anything else. When I graduated I wanted to get my masters, but after paying my way through school for my undergrad I couldn’t even think about accumulating more debt for a masters degree. Especially because I was unsure what area I really wanted to study. Now that I have been in classroom for years I now know what I want to study. I want to earn my masters in Early Childhood Education with an emphasis in Literacy. I know earning a masters degree can be difficult and take some time, but I know I can do it!

2. I love my family and am so excited to become a mother. I want to be able to stay home with our little one and with any future children. My husband and I agree that it is important for our children to be home with a parent. I also want to support my husband and help him support our family.

3. Blogging and becoming a seller opened up a whole new world of possible friendships with amazing teachers all over. Each and every author offers so much support and encouragement. I am excited to create and collaborate with many new friends!

4. My little family is making a big move! After living in Arizona my whole life, I will finally take that leap of faith and head to Texas. We would love to buy a house, so I want to help save to make that happen.

Really all my big dreams are based on becoming more financially stable and growing as a person to continue to better the world one day at a time. I cannot wait to read about your BIG DREAMS! Make sure you link up with Third in Hollywood, Peppy Zesty Teacherista, Teach Create Motivate, and Sparkling in Second.

Until next time,
