A Celebration Sale!

Hey Ya’ll!

It has been a while for sure!! I apologize for neglecting you!! My amazing Readers! I promise it was for good reason!

December 5th at 3:30 am my husband and I made the very quick journey to the hospital to welcome our precious lil peanut! I was expecting a very long and difficult labor but was surprised to have her within 6 hours.

At 9:37 am on December 5th we met Aria Rose weighing in at 7 pounds 3 ounces and just over 19 inches long. She is by far my favorite Christmas present!

To honor her, and have some fun I am placing my Teachers Pay Teachers store on sale for this weekend! If you have been eyeballing my morning work packets or my holiday math and literacy packets, now is the time to snatch them up. My entire store will be 15% off until Sunday night.

With a new little one I tend to spend most of my time napping when she is napping but with my family visiting for the holidays I am hoping to get some new projects completed for the NEW YEAR!

Wishing you the warmest holiday season and a very Merry Christmas!

December Currently

Can you believe that it is already December? That means it's already time to link up with Farley from Oh' Boy 4th Grade for the DECEMBER Currently!

Listening: White Noise Machine. I am testing out all our new gadgets for our tiny one.

Loving: Our New Home! I am so excited for the possibilities we have making our new home our own. It so exciting to plan and dream!

Thinking: I can’t believe it’s December!! This whole year has gone by so quickly! I love that we are in Texas with our family to finish the year in style.

Wanting: Our little Peanut to arrive. I am ready! Now if only she was ready to come. Hopefully any day now!

Needing: to relax and enjoy the time I have left alone with my hubby! We are both excited but what to make sure we still focus on our marriage and relationship. Yay for date nights!!

Real or Faux: Ours is fake. Stella chews on our trees (fake or real), so we have to have a small fake tree and watch her like a hawk!! Silly Kitty!

I can’t wait to read your currently! Don’t forget to link up and share what you are up to.

Until Next Time,

Something NEW!!

Hi Ya’ll

I wanted to share my two newest products!!

I added Thankful Turkey Sight Word Practice to my store! It is a set of worksheets for high reading kindergarteners and first grade readers. Students will color the pictures using the color key and reading the Dolch first grade level sight words.

I also added Winter Math Activities for Kindergarten. This packet is FULL of Kindergarten Common Core math skills. Each page has the Common Core standard listed. You can use these activities as practice or as an assessment of a specific standard.

I can’t wait to hear how much fun your kiddos had practicing skills without knowing they were doing work!!

Until Next Time,

November Currently!

Happy Happy Sunday! I cannot believe it is already November!! I am excited to be linking up with Farley for the November Currently
I am a HUGE Dave Nerd! Every chance I get I put on Dave Matthews and jam out!

Being from Arizona I’ve never really had “Fall Weather”. It’s either hot (in the 90s -100s) or cold (60s). I am learning to love the “Fall Weather” here in Texas. I couldn’t believe I went with out a jacket yesterday!

I am getting more excited to meet our little person! It feels like the end of the year with my kiddos, when you count down to summer! We spend a lot of time talking about what she will look like and who we think she will take after. So exciting looking forward to the unknown!

We found an amazing house and are in the final process of closing. I want to close earlier because I’m starting to get the itch to set up the baby room and paint and put her things together and CLEAN!!! Eeekk so much to do!! I am trying to be patient, but its so hard knowing how little time we have to get everything ready.

I have a few projects I’m working on that I need to finish before we “move” again! You feel more prepared when thing are finished and ready to go.

One of the best gifts my Dad ever gave me was a love for being in the kitchen! His favorites were Snickerdoodles, so this year I am going to back a few batches to honor him and introduce our family to our new neighbors!

I cannot wait to read about your November plans!!

Until Next Time,

Five for Friday October 30

Happy Friday Ya’ll!!

I am linking up with the fabulous Kasey over at Doodle Bugs Teaching for Five for Friday! I have lots of randomness to share today! If you want to join in on the fun click the link above!!

I am having the best time exploring Austin! I was heading to the shopping area near our soon to be home and spotted this guy! How amazing is this?!?!

You can order lunch and then shop. Your food will be ready when you are finished and you can enjoy great brick oven pizza! I will have to try this the next time I am out and about.

On our next adventure my husband took me to see Buc-cee’s. In Arizona I though we had big gas stations, but boy was I wrong!!

Ya’ll there has to be about 80 different pumps!!! I was even more impressed by how clean the bathrooms were. I couldn’t believe it. I have a friend who LOVES hand sanitizer so I had to take some quick pictures for her. She was impressed.

When we first got to Austin and drove to my grandparents’ house I was so excited to see a street with the same name we have chosen for our lil peanut!
I couldn’t believe it! It was perfect! Our tiny tot will be great grand baby number 8 for my grandparents and it is even sweeter that they live less than a mile from a street with her name.

Today it poured!! I mean really poured. It was a record-breaking rain. Moving from Arizona where we would get maybe 7 inches of rain a yea,r Maybe, I was shocked!! It rained 14.5 inches in 24 hours!
We could have built a swimming pool in the backyard there was so much water. I guess this tends to happen. My aunt said there are a few big rains each year. I guess I should buy some rain boots!

My coworker asked me if I had anything for kiddos struggling with beginning sound recognition, and if I could send it to her. She sure is lucky!
I just finished my Beginning Sound Sort packet! I just posted it in my store! It’s on sale for $1.00 right now! Head on over and pick it up. Your kiddos will cut and glue pictures under the correct sound, and there are a few assessment pages at the end to track your students progress!

Hope you all had a great week! I cannot wait to read what you were up to this very busy week before Halloween!!

Until Next Time,
